Estos días son difíciles para todos y sabemos que estáis recibiendo muchísimo material e ideas para hacer en casa con vuestros hijos e hijas. Desde RUBE queremos que nuestros estudiantes continúen con su formación en inglés y es por eso que publicaremos en este blog recursos que podréis encontrar útiles

KIDS BOX 3


En esta web encontraréis actividades para continuar aprendiendo. Los primeros enlaces son de Reading, writing y listening, pero lo que más os interesa es revisar el vocabulario. Así que continuad hasta que encontréis el apartado de juegos y actividades que veis en esta imagen. En el apartado marrón podéis hacer clic y elegir Juegos de memoria, Puzzles de palabras, Búsqueda de palabras o Imágenes para aprender. Una vez seleccionada esa opción, podréis elegir entre diferentes "familias" desde animales, el cuerpo, la ropa, describir cosas, familia, comida y bebida, salud, la casa la clase,  deporte y ocio, hablando sobre personas, la hora, transporte y trabajo.

Videos, videos!!!

La primera destreza que practicamos cuando aprendemos un idioma es la ESCUCHA. Lo que en inglés estamos tan acostumbrados a llamar Listening.  A veces nos parecen aburridos por que no los entendemos, por eso es fundamental empezar desde el nivel que nos corresponde, y , por supuesto, escucharlo varias veces. Por eso os dejamos el enlace a la web donde CAMBRIDGE tiene habilitados los videos tanto de canciones como de historias/comics de los libros KID'S BOX, que son los que usamos en clase. Os recomendamos que repaséis las unidades que ya hemos visto con estos videos, y que invitéis a cantar a toda la familia ya que los podéis poner también en modo karaoke. Sólo tienes que entrar en la web CAMBRIDGE AT HOME y pinchar en el libro que te corresponda.  A disfrutar!!

Present Perfect Simple or Continuous?

As we have learned from our book, Citizen Z B1: 1. The present perfect continuous is formed with the present tense of have + been + the ing form of the verb. I' ve been reading since breakfast Have you been sitting here all day? 2. To talk about activities which started in the past and are still continuing now. She' s been runnin g for an hour. (=she started running an hour ago, and she is still running) 3. To talk about actions with a result in the present. These actions may or may not be complete. I'm tired because I' ve been working . Jak's feeling ill because he hasn't been eating well. 4. To talk about actions which began in the past and continue to the present, but perhaps we are not doing the action at the time of speaking. We' ve been studying Spanish for six months. (=We started studying six months ago, and we are still studying, but we're not studying at this exact moment.) To sum up, Present ...

Profile descriptions

We've just come back from holidays and we were looking forward to seeing us. But we don't feel like working a lot, so we have started with a fun activity about descriptions. All they had to do was to guess name, nationality, age, job and likes/dislikes of some people, write them down and then, tell their partner. We took the idea from ESL Kids games. Here you are the results!!!!
